Post Title: Why punctuation works.
By johngriffin0928, Feed Name: Forever Learning
Preview: I have been a copy editor for most of my adult life, so I often get picky about grammar and proper punctuation. I know, such matters are not taught in schools any more. Title: Re: Transliteracy
Preview: Thanks, Karen.  This is a great find and puts transliteracy in perspective.  Not only have our libraries been greatly impacted by ever changing technology, so has our approach to research and learning.  Reading and good writing are still important skills ... and we need to use them in the best possible ways.  The shorthand you refer to is a way of pointing others to the more ....
