Title: A FEW NEW PARTICIPANTS
Preview: will be joining us in the next few weeks.  They are all new to the MOOC experience and, as we were initially, will be feeling a tad overwhelmed with the interface, the process and the chaos that is at the center of wayfinding and moving around in a connective MOOC.  While the introductory pages are a good orientation, they can be a bit intimidating at first.  Veteran MOOCers, and .......

Post Title: Can You Go One Day Without the Internet?
By Brandy_Erdmann, Feed Name: On Creativity & Multicultural Communication
Preview: Project Reconnect is calling for a worldwide internet blackout on September 2, 2012 as a means of being "original for a day." While the internet spurs much creative thought, it also encourages a regurgitation of other peoples' ideas (i.e. retweeting). Title: Re: Brain and Mindfulness
Preview: This article makes me nervous. Am I cynical to think that creating tools and techniques for burrowing into children's minds will end up in the hands of marketers or worse? Having grown up in the era of cold war brainwashing maybe I'm sensing manipulation for bad ends instead of freeing young minds from the limitations of mental disease, social exclusion and mindlessness? What if we ....

Title: Re: Brain and Mindfulness
Preview: Wow, thank you for this post! I like the whole idea of this article and I think it could most definitely be applied to creativity. It never hurts to look at things and try them from a different perspective, which it seems is what the idea is here.
