Your metaphor about a handshake and a hug is beautiful. Vulnerability is actually very profound. We need it in order to access higher heights. One without vulnerability may be haughty and stagnant. Yet one who is vulnerable may feel that s/he needs to grow in an area. vulnerability is a sense is actually beautiful. It allows opening for help, growth and love. (of course these are only my opinions.)
In response to this course I feel completely vulnerable and unsure. In fact, I am still working on it from last term. Thank you for your words I found them moving .
